It helps control blood sugar. If you have diabetes you need to consider the glycemic content of the foods you eat.
Glycemic content is based on how quickly your body converts carbohydrates into glucose or blood sugar.

The glycemic index (GI) is 100 point scale, that rates food rapidly on how rapidly they cause blood sugar to rise. Food that cause the blood sugar to rise rapidly are given a higher level.

So be sure to have a good balance of omega – 3 and omega – 6 fats on your diet.


Perhaps a biggest problem incase of a peanut product, is that it can cause a serious allergic reaction for some people. They can use alternate oils like canola oil, sesame oil and olive oil.
